ESPRIT D'ALIENOR is a generous and velvety wine, very pleasant from its youth, which then develops elegantly with time in the bottle.
The dominant fruity and fresh character which characterizes the first phase of its evolution is then followed by the truffle and tobacco notes, typical of the evolution of our grape varieties on these terroirs; the tannins remain supple and delicate, without excess power or weakness, a faithful testimony and homage to the spirit of Eleanor.
L’Esprit d’Aliénor is a small production, blend of Merlot Noir (85%) and Cabernet Franc (15%) from a combination of clay-limestone and silica-clay terroirs of the Montagne Saint-Emilion appellation. Dominantly fruity and beautifully fresh, Esprit d’Aliénor is a generous and velvety wine with supple and delicate tannins, very pleasant in their youth.
